The Parkland College is preparing to mark Earth Week (April 16-22) with a variety of events. The purpose of Earth Week is to promote awareness and appreciation of the planet's natural environment, culminating in Earth Day on April 22.

They play the game simply for the love of the game. Some have been at it longer than most of us have been around, starting out on frozen ponds and sloughs. There was no expensive protective equipment in those days.
