Looking forward to next week when St.

Kamsack and Canora air cadets joined together in Kamsack on January 28 for an exercise in rockets. Wade Stachura, a second lieutenant with the Canora squadron who is its training officer, led the exercise at the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute.

The Preeceville Grade 10 students visited the Preeceville Branch of the Parkland Regional Library on January 20 to sign up for library cards and to learn how to successfully utilize its services.

While at the Canora Children’s Centre on Friday, Hunter and Sage Nehaj found a couple stuffed animals that they used as substitutes for groundhogs so that they could see if the animals would be able to see their shadows.

The Friday night supper and jam session at PALS was a lucky Friday the 13th for Nancy Landstad Genoway, the 50/50 winner. And the winner on January 20 was Margaret Pinkerton. Come out, participate or just sing along with great music.

The archery programs for Canora archery students received a total of $4,000 from the River Ridge Fish and Game last week.
