The North Ridge Disc Golf Daredevil Challenge Tournament was held Saturday (July 23) in Birtle, MB. It was the inaugural event at the course installed earlier this year on the hills of the Birdtail River Valley overlooking the town below.

To start this week a big shout out to Dorian Bush of Yorkton. Bush is the inaugural inductee to the PADG ‘Ace Club’. He turned the trick July 15 at Patrick Park Disc Golf Course with a forehand drive on #6.

The Family Resource Centre, which serves the communities of Sturgis, Preeceville and Endeavour, is once again offering a Summer Fun Program for all children aged five to 12 years.

Canada Day was the grand opening of the Asessippi National Disc Golf Course and it was a successful event by every measure.

A ribbon was cut at the Canora Junior Elementary School on June 27 to announce the opening of an exciting new school project: a soup garden sponsored by businesses in the community.

Canora Composite School presented the final awards of the school year to June students of the month.

Students from Canora Junior Elementary School were rewarded with an hour of summer fun during a Water Fun Day on June 24. The event was one of the many rewards students were able to gain through the Accelerated Reader program at the school.
