The Asessippi National Disc Golf Course 2 Disc Challenge will be held Friday, July 1, at Asessippi Beach & Campground north of Russell, MB. It is the inaugural tournament for this course which was just put in this year.

Disc golfers looking for a longer course to challenge can now head to Whitesand Regional Park, just northwest of Theodore. The new course is now open for play, after completion of 18 tonals, utilizing repurposed 20-pound propane tanks.

The Town of Preeceville recreation department has been working hard to keep the summer fun activities rolling for all ages. The rock wall offered many challenges of many difficulties on May 24 at the Preeceville Skating Rink grounds.

The Sturgis READ club and the students of the grades 6 and 7 class at the Sturgis Composite High School joined together for three afternoons of old time dancing. The dancing took place over the course of the year and concluded May 24.
