On September 15, organizers of Telemiracle launched a sevenmonth campaign called MyTelemiracleStory.com to collect stories and memories about Telemiracle from the people of Saskatchewan.

( see photo gallery below ..) The Town of Preeceville encouraged local organizations to come out and showcase themselves in a community registration evening on September 8.

(EDITOR’S NOTE: Samantha Karikas (nee Routley) was born in Winnipeg and moved to Kamsack just shy of her ninth birthday. She grew up in Kamsack and graduated from the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute in 2003.

Young workers in the province will have a better way to learn about their workplace rights and responsibilities through the updated Young Worker Readiness Certificate Course (YWRCC).

An avid Kamsack quilter and artist is encouraging fellow quilters to join the Heart and Home Quilting Club which is holding its first session of the season at the United Church basement on Monday.

The Sturgis Composite High School Class of ‘95 gathered on July 12 to mark its 20th high school reunion! It started at the SCHS with a school tour hosted by Kristen Peterson, one of the teachers at the school.

The Harvard 606 Air Cadet Squadron held an annual registration and information evening at the Preeceville Legion Hall on September 8. It was held in conjunction with the Town of Preeceville registration and informational evening.

Even though Grandparents’ Day is not a national holiday in Canada it is still widely celebrated as a day to spend some time with a grandparent.
