On February 21 at 9:00 a.m. the Kamsack RCMP responded to a house fire in Kamsack, according to a release from the RCMP.

A trio with an “impressive, well-choreographed show incorporating impeccable three-part harmonies, a roots drum kit split between two band members, and an acoustic guitar franken-rigged to also be the bass, will be performing live in Kamsack.

A total of 25 teams participated in the annual Norquay Seniors Bonspiel, held from February 18 to 21. The bonspiel was a success, according to organizer Larry Dahl. “The bonspiel is played on a point system,” said Brian Hubic, draw master.

The Togo Centennial Committee sponsored its annual snowmobile derby and, again this year, received some “pretty awesome feedback about the whole day.

The River Valley Archery Club (RVAC) is celebrating its one-year anniversary. On March 2 and 3, RVAC will be hosting an indoor, 3D shoot at the Veregin rink, the venue which the club has been using as a home base.

One Togo family’s dedication to the sport of curling, and the ability to attract some volunteers, resulted in ice being made, and 12 teams signing up for a mixed bonspiel that was held at Togo.
