A call has gone out from the Kamsack Powerhouse Museum to all district artists to have examples of their work exhibited at the third annual art show and sale. The event is being held at the OCC Hall in Kamsack on July 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On June 15, Jon Kalmakoff, a former Canora resident, received the 2019 Saskatchewan History and Folklore Society (SHFS) Baker Award for Saskatchewan Heritage.

A Kamsack resident is a member of the 2019 cast of SaskExpress which will have a preview fundraising Gala of its show Reel Music in Regina next week and will be in Kamsack in August.

Restaurants in Kamsack and Norquay were illegally entered on June 12 when liquor was stolen from both businesses.

After raising more than $120,000 for a variety of Kamsack charitable initiatives, the Old Dog Run has run its course.
