The biggest problem with protests isn’t necessarily the protesters but how we react to them and their message. This has clearly been the frustration for pipeline protesters, including those at an event last week in front of the Legislature in Regina.

A Stick Curling bonspiel in Swan River was won by a team from Kamsack. The two-person team of Shirley Peesker and Marge Wonitowy of Kamsack won the event which was held on January 8 in the Swan Valley Curling Complex.

Recently several students of Victoria School received their own copies of a book that contained stories which they had written. The students had written the stories last year when they were in a Grade 2/3 class taught by Kathleen Tulloch.
