Several district artists are exhibiting their works this month in the 2017 Landscape and Memory Exhibition at the Godfrey Dean Art Gallery in Yorkton. “We were overwhelmed,” Don Stein, the director of the Gallery, said last week.

Last week, a group of 16 students of the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute left the school to participate in the school’s seventh annual outdoor education experience.

An open house was held at the Kamsack Hospital on Friday in celebration of the successes and achievements of the Stepping Stone Wellness Clinic that has been in operation for about nine months.

Five track-and-field athletes at the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute qualified at the district meet in Yorkton May 24 and 25 to advance to the provincial meet held in Saskatoon on Friday.

Now is a great opportunity for area residents who want to see a dentist practicing in Kamsack to do their part so that it will happen.

Maggie’s, which is a new business that opened in Pelly on April 21, is a family-operated drive-in restaurant and ice cream shop located at 408 Fort Livingstone Road.

All 12 members of the Kamsack air cadet squadron, accompanied by three adults, spent the Easter holiday week on a trip to the Maritime provinces of Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick.

The Fort Pelly-Livingstone Museum, which had been destroyed by fire in 2015, will reopen this year in the former detachment building of the Pelly RCMP.
