Graduation exercises were held at the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute on June 29 in honour of 34 Grade 12 students who have graduated.

Three students of the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute are wearing gold medals that they won recently playing on lacrosse teams.

The 19 th annual Pelly Benefit Jamboree was held on June 10 and 11. Registrations for the old time fiddling contest started the weekend at 10:30 a.m. and were accompanied by the opening music of a Pelly-based band called Carry the Wood 13.

Kamsack Comprehensive Institute students in grades 5 to 8 who had distinguished themselves during the 2016-17 term were honoured at the Junior Spectacular Spartans awards evening held June 20.

A program to celebrate National Aboriginal Day at Kamsack on June 21 began with Stella Pelly delivering an opening prayer that recognized, in particular, “the children; our youth.

All roads led to Veregin on June 24 for the 73 rd annual shishliki barbecue held by the Veregin recreation board.
