A market garden which had attracted as many as 200 customers in the two summers that it operated about eight miles east of Kamsack, has moved five miles closer to the community and is opening its doors to other vendors of produce, crafts and baking.

A spring clean-up of discarded syringes was held in Kamsack April 18 and at Yorkton on April 25.

A budget day information package received by the Good Spirit School Division (GSSD) board on March 22 heralded cutbacks in funding, including a decrease of 51 per cent to the governance budget.

A "backstage" play, which means a play about a local high school trying to put on a performance of Anne of Green Gables, - and the audience gets to see everything from "backstage," will be presented at a dessert theatre in Norquay on May 3.
