On Mothers’ Day, mothers of Kamsack Grade 1 students received flowering plants that were potted by their children in glass bowls.

“Stop bullying; it’s mean, it’s sad, it’s not cool,” said one of the several posters carried by Cote students on their Pink Day walk on Highway No. 8 north of Kamsack last week.

Nearly 30 representatives of the museums within the Seneca Root Museums Association were in Preeceville April 27 for their spring meeting.

Over 150 guests attended the Norquay Rosa Ukrainian Dance Club’s spring concert held April 24 in the Norquay Communiplex. It was “an afternoon of excellent entertainment,” said a release from the club.

Two Kamsack Comprehensive Institute Grade 9 students came home from the District junior badminton competition in Yorkton last week with the silver medal in the girls doubles category.

Riverside Golf Course at Kamsack opened for the 2016 season on April 15 in good condition, said Ken Cymbalisty, who began his 25 th year as the manager of the course.
