A reporter and videographer from CBC Saskatchewan in Regina were in Kamsack last week acquiring information to follow up statements made on March 14 by the chiefs of Cote, Keeseekoose and The Key First Nations.

Crowstand lease rates, the town’s old reservoir and putting more teeth into a bylaw prohibiting dogs in front yards were among items that town council dealt with during its regular meeting on March 14.

The Norquay School’s senior Knights boys basketball team won the bronze medal at the Regional competition in Canora March 11 and 12.

Even though the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute senior girls basketball team did not qualify to go to Hoopla, the season ended on a high note, according to Ryan Stanko, their coach.

The 44 skaters who are members of the revived Norquay Figure Skating Club were on the ice on February 28 for their year-end carnival.
