Thanks to a $4000 donation from Saskatchewan Families for Effective Autism Treatment (SaskFEAT), the Yorkton branch of SaskAbilities will be support the service delivery of respite and mentorship services, for children and youth with autism.

The seeds of a new community garden are about to be planted in Yorkton. At least that is the hope of Warren Crossman, the man behind the garden’s rebirth.

A semi and a pickup truck collided in a fatal accident south of Yorkton last Friday. A northbound semi crashed head-on with a southbound pickup truck on Highway 9 south of Yorkton on Apr. 27. The vehicles spun into the east and west ditches.

A Yorkton man has been found guilty of sexual assault. Kenneth Hasper was found guilty of the lone charge of sexual assault in Court of Queen’s Bench in Yorkton. The charges stem from an incident on June 23 of 2017.
