In a show of support for the Humboldt Broncos hockey team which suffered a horrific loss on Friday, members of the community gathered at the Kamsack Cenotaph to hold a candlelight vigil. Mayor Nancy Brunt organized and led the vigil on Sunday at 7 p.

The Preeceville Minor Hockey Association hosted an emotional, heart-wrenching candle-lit vigil on April 8.

Tony and Jackie Ripa had suspicions that their eight-year-old Angus-cross cow might be carrying twins, but they received an extremely unusual surprise when the cow gave birth to triplets on their Canora area farm on March 31.

Shane Nelson of Preeceville won the award for the biggest fish caught at the Nelson Lake ice fishing derby on March 24. The Endeavour Eagles club sponsored the second-time derby.

A couple who has recently made Kamsack their home has opened the doors to a new business on Kamsack’s main street in what is still remembered by many as the “former SaskPower building.

The Preeceville School has created a lot of excitement within the school and community with the hatching and raising of rainbow trout. The school is participating in the program for the second year.
