A woman who was born on March 2 near Kamsack 110 years ago, celebrated her birthday this month at her home at Fairway View Neighborhoods in Ortonville, Minnesota.

A team of nine missionary workers from the St. John Lutheran Church in Preeceville left on February 24 to spend a week in Vicente Guerrero, a town situated in the Baja peninsula of Mexico.

Crime stats, strategies and concerns spotlighted

Kamsack RCMP were advised by one of its partner agencies on March 14 of the presence of suspected cocaine/fentanyl in two individuals in the Kamsack RCMP Detachment area, said a release from the RCMP dated on Friday.

There were 178 sleds attracted to the Lintlaw 75 Snowmobile Derby held on March 3. Riders had the opportunity to select from two trails that took riders through the Porcupine Forest, said Kathy Ambrose, Town of Lintlaw administrator.
