SASKATOON — The Saskatoon Police Service has arrested a 21-year-old man who assaulted multiple police officers on Monday. Just last weekend, a 57-year-old man was charged after a similar incident.

The 21 year old is charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer after he and two officers fell in a stairwell.

On May 23, at approximately 7:15 a.m., police were dispatched to the 200 block of Kingsmere Boulevard in regards to a man sleeping in a stairwell. The caller had indicated it was unclear if the man was breathing.
