The Canora Nursery School Trade Show was held on December 2 at the Legion Dugout, as a fundraiser for the school.

The Sturgis branch of the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation hosted its annual “horn measuring event” at the Sturgis Arena on December 8. The club members brought in 16 antlers and one bear skull to be scored.

A total of 14 sets of antlers were brought in for the annual antler measuring of the Canora branch of the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation, from animals brought down by experienced hunters as well as those just getting started in the sport.

The Kamsack Recreation Board has its eyes set on winning $10,000; the only catch being lots and lots of people have to do lots and lots of moving around for 10 days in March.
