The Studio Dance One club members presented its annual spring recital to the theme, “Hollywood Walk of Fame” at the Sturgis Composite High School on April 23.

MWO Keenan Rehaluk (master warrant officer) has retired after 23 plus years of “loyal and dedicated service” to the Canadian Armed Forces. Born and raised in Canora, Rehalukenrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in October 1993.

CIBC Canora held its third annual Easter colouring contest. CIBC delivered the pictures to Canora daycares, nursery school, pre-Kindergarten and Canora Junior Elementary School, said Elly Carlson, CIBC Canora customer service representative.

The Canora air cadets participated in an air skills day April 8, when they built model rockets for the morning and set them off to the heavens in the afternoon, said Darren Paul, Canora air cadets’ commanding officer.
