The Canora Composite School senior boys basketball team held a successful home tournament, which it finished by being awarded third place.

After experiencing life on the ocean on board a sailboat, a former Kamsack air cadet who is now a major in the Air Force has written a book highlighting his adventures on the water off the coast of Eastern Canada.

“Looking back over the past year, the Town has had many successes and steady progress has been made on our strategic priorities,” said Kamsack Mayor Nancy Brunt.

A special ceremony was held last month to mark the change of command for the Kamsack air cadet squadron. At the cadets’ regular parade on December 15, the ceremony was held to officially enstate 2 nd Lieut.
