An Invermay resident represented Saskatchewan by receiving an award during the first Ukrainian Triennial Congress in Saskatchewan.

Canora Composite School was one of thousands of schools across the country to participate in the Terry Fox Run. The school’s run was meant to take place on September 29, but due to the school’s evacuation, the run was rescheduled for October 3.

The Canora Junior Cougars of Canora Composite School continue to have a busy season, according to Kim Eitenier, the coach. The Canora Composite School was the location for the Grades 9 and 10 Junior Jamboree hosted by the Cougars on October 1.
