Members of Hiawatha chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star were “honoured” to have offices of the grand chapter of Saskatchewan pay a visit to Kamsack for their official visit on August 26.

Members of the Madge Lake Cottage Owners Association met with park staff to discuss common concerns at its annual general meeting in July.

The St. Patrick's Sturgis and Preeceville councils of the Catholic Women's League of Canada welcomed Rev. Mark Miller to Preeceville Club 60 on August 31 when he gave a presentation on caring for the dying in an ethical manner.

Allyson Grywacheski has joined the staff at the Sturgis Elementary School. She is originally from Norquay and received her bachelor of secondary education degree from the University of Regina where she majored in sociology and minored in English.
