The Canora Arts Council will be renewing its Stars for Saskatchewan concert series for the 2016/2017 season. Thanks to the efforts of volunteers and council members, four concerts will be shown at Canora Composite School.

With 46 entries, which was nearly twice as many as had entered the Mud Bog competition last year, and with an estimated 600 people cheering from the sidelines, members of the Kamsack Mud Slingers are pleased with their Canada Day showing.

A former Kamsack air cadet, named a top Saskatchewan cadet, attended a leaders’ summit in Ottawa where she also met the Prime Minister and the American President. Warrant Officer Brooklynn Andrusiak was a Kamsack air cadet from 2011 to 2014.
