For the past six years, students who are now in Grade 12, have been partnering with some of the youngest students at Canora Junior Elementary School to create wonderful jack-o’-lanterns in time for Halloween.

“What a season!” Shyla Yannoulis, the assistant coach of the Canora Cougars junior girls volleyball team, used those three words to describe the Cougars’ season following the gold medal win at the Districts tournament on Saturday.

Five students of the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute attended the provincial Students Against Drinking and Driving (SADD) conference at Saskatoon on October 16 and 17.

Senior students of Keeseekoose Chiefs Education Centre walked the distance along the highway from the school to the band hall on Friday in a demonstration they called an Apartheid Walk.
