“Preeceville Minor Baseball is happy to report that it is having another positive year,” said Andrea Tonn, organizer.

“We have approximately 50 kids registered with Saskatchewan Baseball this year. The age groups range from T-ball to mosquito. We are lucky to have such incredible interest in the sport and appreciate that the kids are coming out to play. The weather has been very cooperative this year with a few games already played. The season ends approximately the third week in June with a windup barbecue.”

T-ball is coached by Dani Volpatti and Lisa Moekerk. The rookie division is under the guidance of Welma Bartel and Kim Sandager. Mosquito ball is coached by Shannon Nelson.

“All teams are doing well as they continue to be more competitive with each game. The diamonds are busy with baseball played al-most every day of the week.

“People are encouraged to come and watch. Teams practice every Tuesday and Thursday with games scheduled throughout the season.”
