The Yorkton Terriers have dropped four-of-five games since returning from the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Christmas break. All four of the losses have been against Viterra Division competition, the latest loss Tuesday in Estevan.

The Yorkton RawTec Maulers have won their first game played in 2019. The Saskatchewan AAA Midget Hockey League victory came Sunday afternoon at the Farrell Agencies Arena against the visiting Battlefords Stars.

Things are tightening up in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s Viterra Division. Yorkton remains atop the Viterra after splitting a pair of games on the weekend, having 43 points based on a 21-15-1 record.

The last remaining piece of the Saskatchewan Rush roster puzzle has been put into place. Defenceman Nik Bilic has agreed to a new two-year contract, pending league approval, and he will be back with the reigning NLL champions for the 2019 season.
