It was a rather successful weekend for the YRHS Lady Raiders basketball team.

This past weekend the senior Saints girls hosted an eight team tournament. The Saints started the tournament playing Melville on Friday with the support of many Sacred Heart students and staff.

The YRHS Raiders senior boys’ basketball team made their way to Estevan on the weekend to take part in an eight team basketball tournament and returned with gold medals.

It was a tough weekend for the Sacred Heart Saints senior boys’ basketball team.

The Yorkton United Sonics U12 Boys Soccer Team have brought home their second Division One gold medal in as many tournaments.

Nearly a dozen students of the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute are members of the school’s senior curling team. The students meet at the Broda Sportsplex once a week for practices with their instructors Scott Tulloch and Barb Tetoff.

The Yorkton Storm Speed Swimming team competed in three meets leading up to the holidays. The first meet the club attended was their own sixth annual IceBreaker Meet in Yorkton.

District 12 4-H clubs held their 4-H curling bonspiel this past weekend in Yorkton.

The scholarships keep coming for Yorkton football players, as YRHS Raider star Caleb Bymak is the most recent player to accept a scholarship to play in the CIS.
