Jaden Porte competed at his last outdoor meet at the Western Canadian Summer Games in Fort MacMurray, Alberta. It was an experience that he will never forget in his life time. Porte competed in heat two of the 800m.

The 2015 Western Canadian Midget ‘AAA’ Championship and 2015 Western Canadian Peewee ‘AA’ Girls’ Championship have come and gone in Yorkton with little to no problems for the organizing committee.

Local pitching phenom and star shortstop Tyson Black has had quite the month of August, taking part in three major tournaments throughout the first three weeks of the month.

The Yorkton Atom Gridders and Yorkton Peewee Gridders both moved to 2-0 on the season after both clubs found success in their first home games of the season.
