Another week and the Yorkton Terriers retain the best record in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. The Terriers now sport a 19-5-1-3 record for 42 points, best in both the Viterra Division and the entire league.

The Sacred Heart Saints Sr. Girls basketball team walked into the YRHS Gymnasium on Friday afternoon with one mission: Victory. They walked out of that same gymnasium on Saturday as winners of the YRHS Sr. Girls Basketball Tournament.

The Yorkton Harvest hockey team has been having a rough go of it as of late.

The Yorkton Regional High School curling club teamed up with the Yorkton Curling Club to host a high school curling tournament this past weekend at the Gallagher Centre.

The students of Kees Taekwondo and the Yorkton Taekwondo Association held a Break-A-Thon fundraiser. The students canvassed and received donor pledges in order to raise funds that go directly to a Ugandan Orphanage project.

The SSMHL's Yorkton Kinsmen Terriers hosted the visiting Regina Wild on Saturday night in hopes of repeating what they did just over two weeks ago when they defeated the Wild 4-2 on home ice.

Mike Kozushka cranked Paul Brandt's hit song Alberta Bound when he signed his letter of intent to the University of Alberta this past week.
