The Saints of Sacred Heart High School (SHHS) senior boys volleyball team attended the annual Cougar High School Classic volleyball tournament at the University of Regina on Sept. 28-29. The tournament consisted of four pools with five teams in each.

Highlights from around the Yorkton Regional High School over the past week: -Raider football: Final score was 42-20 at Swift Current against the Colts. It was their first time playing at the Swift Current field.

Sacred Heart High School will be hosting a senior girls volleyball tournament next weekend. Round robin matches will go two games and playoffs will be a best-of-three.

The Yorkton Terriers and Melville Millionaires may be rivals in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League but they will work together on a major new promotion to put more fans in the seats at both arenas.

The Yorkton Terriers won a pair of Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League games to raise their record to 4-1 for a league-leading .800 winning percentage.
