The Sacred Heart Saints senior boys volleyball team, led by coach Curtis Moen will he hosting the Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association Conference tournament.

The Female Athlete of the Month for September is a very busy athlete. Rita Fetsch was a member of the Sacred Heart cross country team and soccer team.

The minor hockey season has just kicked-off, but for the Yorkton UCT Bantam AA Terriers team they've already won something that should have them all on TV by Saturday night during the broadcast of Hockey Night in Canada.

Sacred Heart was the site of the Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association (SHSAA) Conference playoffs in the 4A division. Games were played all day on Saturday, including Melville, Esterhazy, Kamsack and the SHHS Lady Saints.

The Yorkton Terriers went on the road after a week away from game action and returned with three Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League points.

The UCT Bantam Yorkton Terriers beat Moose Jaw 6-1 Sunday afternoon on the strength of a three-goal performance by Turner Ottenbreit. Tanner Mak had a pair while Kylan Shea added a single.

The only thing better than one gold medal is two gold medals.

The Yorkton Terriers are in the midst of several days away from the ice in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, but remain tied for third in the Sherwood Conference as of Monday.

Another strong season in the standings for the Sacred Heart senior football team came to an end over the weekend.
