CTTS is in place for road race

The Annual Health Foundation Charity Road Race is set to go in less than four days. There will be five races. One of them is brand new. It has organizers fairly excited to see what the turnout is like.

Success for local kayak club

The Yorkton Canoe and Kayak Club has had a very successful competition season, bringing home 31 event medals. The season began with the Canada Day Regatta in Regina, to which nine paddlers attended.

AAA hockey club going to need some billets for this season: Simms

The Yorkton Harvest AAA Midget Hockey Club is looking for families to provide homes away from home for young hockey players this season. Billet families will provide room and board to a 15-17 year old high school student.

The Health Foundation Charity Road Race is coming up on Aug. 19. Race day entries will not be accepted. Money raised from the event will go towards the purchase of medical equipment for the health region.
