The Annual Health Foundation Charity Road Race is set to go in less than four days. There will be five races. One of them is brand new. It has organizers fairly excited to see what the turnout is like.

Jarret Stoll and his family will be bringing the Stanley Cup to the City of Yorkton tomorrow afternoon. The City has a parade planned, starting at 2 p.m.

The Yorkton Harvest AAA Midget Hockey Club is looking for families to provide homes away from home for young hockey players this season. Billet families will provide room and board to a 15-17 year old high school student.

The Health Foundation Charity Road Race is coming up on Aug. 19. Race day entries will not be accepted. Money raised from the event will go towards the purchase of medical equipment for the health region.

Deer Park Municipal Golf Course has been a very busy place over the past week. The men's, ladies, seniors and junior opens have all been held at the golf course since Aug. 8.

Life really is tough being a Jets fan. Another year of no NHL hockey in Winnipeg is actually in the works.
