When you are a reviewer new product always excites, but when the Crosslap Credo arrived it was a bit more special than most. The Credo is the first Professional Disc Golf Association approved discs to be manufactured in Germany.

The Richardson Yorkton Cardinals Pee Wee baseball team had a disappointing Sunday but at least they had some fun the day before. Yorkton hosted a doubleheader on Saturday and had their doubleheader on Sunday cancelled due to rain by 11 a.m.

The Yorkton Cardinals seem to be fighting not only other Western Major Baseball League teams, but the weather in their search for wins this year.

It turns out that there will be a small Yorkton connection to this year's NHL Entry Draft June which takes place this Friday in Pittsburgh.

You may recall Legacy Discs from the first review of 2012. They are a new manufacturer on the disc golf scene, and the Cannon reviewed a few weeks ago impressed by the way it handled the seemingly always present Saskatchewan wind.

It turned out he responded just fine. After stealing the show singlehandedly in Game 6 last Thursday night at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, he went up against Kevin Garnett and company in the final game of the Eastern Conference finals.

Weekend weather was good enough as three South East Senior Baseball League (SESBL) games were played out as scheduled. On Sunday, the Parkland Padres and the Yorkton Orioles played games at Jubilee Park.

Twelve competitors from the KEES Yorkton Taekwondo club participated Saturday May 26 at the 3rd Annual Iron Fist Taekwondo Club Challenge in Winnipeg. The event was hosted by Iron Fist Taekwondo.

With rain across much of the province, action in the Western Major Baseball League was sporadic in the past week. The rain-outs included a home field contest scheduled for Jubilee Park Saturday.
