The Yamalube Schrader's SMX Racing Team took its first number-one national plate with Denaye Giroux of Yorkton being crowned the Women's National West champion. "We couldn't be more excited for Denaye," says team owner and manager Jackie Maffenbeier.

The Cab Clothing Yorkton Regional High School Female Athlete of the Month for May is Lea Burnard. Burnard is a regular in archery with the YRHS and travelled with the team to Florida back in October. Her last two tournaments went very well for her.
