The Saskatchewan Rush have signed defender Ryan McLean to a two-year agreement. After being selected 37th overall by the Rush in last year’s NLL Entry Draft, McLean spent last season on the Rush practice roster.

There are various elements to haying whether using modern equipment, or horse drawn. Horses were at work doing some haying at Rama, SK., Saturday at the PALS Draft Horse Field Day.

It was land preparation the old fashioned way Saturday at Rama, SK. Horses took to the field with cultivators, discs and harrows at the 2019 edition of the PALS Draft Horse Field Day.

The Assiniboine River Archery Club held its 26 th annual 3-D shoot August 10 and 11 at the Dale and Chad Swetlishnoff farm near Canora.

Summer is construction season in Saskatchewan. That includes work on the province’s highways and bridges, as is the case with a bridge project currently underway on Highway #5 between Buchanan and Rama.

It’s almost a case of rabbits by the dozen at Steven Halifax’s acreage at Rama, SK. The pen has about 50 rabbits of both the New Zealand and Californian breeds.

Highway 9, one half mile north of York Road, isbe down to one lane alternating traffic via the new detour road, as bridge construction is under way. The bridge is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.
