Dear Editor: What is Canada’s leading preventable cause of disease and death? It’s tobacco. This week is National Non-Smoking Week, providing a reminder that tobacco is still our number one public health issue.

Parkland College President Dwayne Reeve has tendered his resignation, and will step down on July 31, 2018. Reeve has been with the college since 2015, after 30 years in the K-12 education system.

The Yorkton Kinsmen AA Midget Terriers rolled up an 8-1 win Saturday and 7-2 win Sunday at the Farrell Agencies Arena over the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors.
