The Yorkton Public Library is open at 9 a.m. Monday-Friday. --- David Crossman will be sharing inspirational insights and info about his prison ministry at Prince Albert Penitentiary at two services: 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Lunch after 6 p.m. service.

Lawrence (Larry) Zbeetneff was born on June 19, 1926 in the Phoenix district to Peter and Anne Zbeetneff. He attended the Phoenix School for Grades 1 to 10 and 11 and 12 were taken by correspondence.

Mrs. Florence Bobowski, beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Bobowski of Yorkton, SK, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre after a brief illness.

Mrs. Lena Shebeluk, beloved wife of Steve Shebeluk, passed away on October 22, 2016 with her family at her side at the Yorkton & District Nursing Home.

Gregory Francis Jeroski was born on May 13, 1948 at Melville, SK; a son of Frank and Catherine (nee Hoffman) Jeroski. He lived for two years in the Elfros district before moving to Melville.

Melvin Dan Nelson passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 6:30 pm at the Yorkton & District Nursing Home. He was 82 years of age when he passed away after a long battle with health issues.

At the age of 70 years, Robert (Bob) Harold Engel passed away suddenly at his residence in Canora, SK on October 12, 2016. Bob was born July 13, 1946 to Gotlieb and Ellie (Alstadt) Engel in Moose Jaw, SK.

Olga Zulyniak (nee Pillipow) passed away into eternal rest October 21, 2016 at St. Peter's Hospital in Melville at the age of 91 years. She was born June 13, 1925 in the Bernadine district to Anne Chonko and Wasyl Pillipow, one of eleven children.
