Wendy Norrish has been appointed to the Buchanan Housing Authority Board of Directors. Other members of the board of directors are Shirley MacLeod, Sharon Murray, Adam Kosar and Nicholas Woloschuk. Woloschuk is chairperson.

KM Auto Care held its 25th anniversary barbecue Friday. The event included entertainment by local recording artist Jackie Guy. All proceeds from the barbecue went to Yorkton SPCA.

Congratulations to all the gardeners who entered the City of Yorkton “Yorkton In Bloom” competition.

Each month a male and a female student is selected as the SHHS Saint of the Month. Saint of the Month students are nominated by staff and students of SHHS.

Sadly, we seem to be living in a time when ignorance is not simply a reality of varying degrees of educational opportunity or lack of evidence and knowledge, but has been elevated by many to a virtue and celebrated as a badge of honour.
