Girl Guide bottles stolen overnight

Yorkton Girl Guide leader Carrie Morrison awoke Monday morning to find thieves had entered her fenced-in backyard during the night and made off with bags full of bottles collected by Girl Guides in the city Sunday.

Teen jailed for alcohol breach

A 19-year-old Yorkton man will spend the next four months in jail for theft and breaching a probation order not to consume or possess alcohol. Chaz Umperville pleaded guilty May 6 to two counts of theft and two counts of breach.
