Bomb hoax at Moosomin school

On April 26 at approximately 12:10 pm, Moosomin RCMP and Fire Department responded to a bomb threat at McNaughton High School in Moosomin. A note was found by a student in the school saying there was a bomb that would go off in 24 hours.

Mrs. Alice Kowalishen, formerly of Yorkton and the Stornoway district passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012. She was 93 years of age. Alice (Olesia) was born on November 4, 1918 in Mikado, SK to Michael Guspodaryk and Rosalia Mazur.
