Yorkton This Week

Mr. William (Bill) Schutz passed away March 22, 2012 at the Langenburg Special Care Home at the age of 97 years. Bill was born May 17, 1914 on a farm ten miles north of Churchbridge, SK.

The Springer's Gymnastics team held their annual Invitational gymnastics meet over the weekend at the Sacred Heart High School. Almost 250 gymnasts were involved in competitive and recreational gymnastics.

The Yorkton Wheelchair Accessible Playground Committee appeared before the regular meeting of City Council Monday to update plans to assist with the replacement of the play structure located in Weinmaster Park.
