Ernest Wiwchar, known to all as Ernie, was born on August 19, 1930 in the Gorlitz district of Saskatchewan; a son of Mary (nee Mihaichuk) and John A. Wiwchar. Ernie was raised on the family farm and attended the Ukraina Country School.

Valletta Dora Miskolczi passed away in the Wallace House at the Yorkton & District Nursing Home in Yorkton, SK. She had resided there since September of 2011. She was 90 years of age.
