In the 2010-11 season the wrestling team attended two tournaments, one at Bedford Road Collegiate in Saskatoon and Regionals in Swift Current. Jessica Riffel won a gold medal at Bedford, silver at regionals and a bronze at provincials.

The fifth annual GX94 and FOX FM Airwaves for Health Radiothon last month was the most successful yet, raising $129,765 - two-thirds of the amount needed to fund a conceptual plan for the construction of a new regional hospital.

A new show highlighting local and regional artist is launching at the Godfrey Dean Gallery in Yorkton. The 2011 Landscape and Memory exhibition will feature paintings, sculptures, prints, photography and jewellery by 25 artists.
