Record high employment in December

Record high employment for the month of December helped Saskatchewan close out the year with the second lowest unemployment rate in Canada. Saskatchewan's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of 5.5 per cent is well below the national average of 7.

Frame Tech

The Yorkton Terriers Novice Frame Techs won the A-side championship where they beat Moosomin in a 9-2 win in the final. That came after they beat the Carlet's Terriers 7-3 in the semi finals. The tourney was in Melville.
