Last week we discussed empowering people and I listed, COACHING, as one approach that will accomplish that goal. As previously mentioned, we think of coaching as only sports related.

The Kids of Steel (KOS) Triathlon and Adult Duathlon will be held on May 16 at the Gallagher Centre. The KOS race starts at 8 a.m., and the duathlon at 10 a.m. Please contact Michelle for more info at 783-7942.

Bredenbury walk supports dog guides

The Purina Walk for Dog Guides is celebrating 25 years of raising funds to provide Dog Guides at no cost to Canadians with disabilities. There is a Walk happening in Bredenbury on May 16, 2010 at Lions Den - Kensington Street.
