Saskatoon was the host to this year's U14 Western Volleyball Championships where the hometown McSweeney's Selects team captured a bronze medal in Division Two, Tier Three.

The 2nd Annual LDM Foods Kids of Steel triathlon is coming to Yorkton on May 16. The event will combine swimming and running portions and participants have been training for it on Saturday mornings leading up to it.
