The LDM Foods Kids of Steel triathlon was held over the weekend in perfect weather conditions and organizers say they couldn't be happier. In two races held in the morning hours on Sunday, a total of 53 participants took part.

Badminton districts

The Yorkton Regional High School hosted the ECDAA junior badminton district championships on May 4. Sixty-four athletes representing 12 schools participated. From round robin play, four teams qualified for the medal round.

City changes insurance broker for next seven years

The City of Yorkton is changing its insurance broker after a decision by Yorkton Council at its regular meeting Monday. The City had been using Independent Agencies since July 2003, when it was transferred to Farrell Agencies Ltd.
