On April 15, 2020, a search warrant was executed on a residence on Jan Street in Pelican Narrows, SK. During the search of the residence, over 30 varied sized bottles of liquor and drug paraphernalia was located within the residence.

Event still planned for Yorkton

On Monday, April 13, at approximately 10:10 p.m., an unknown male entered a Canora Hotel offsale store carrying an axe. The male used the axe to smash a glass case and steal several bottles of liquor before leaving the business.

Leader of the Official Opposition Ryan Meili called on the province to match federal support with $1.5 million in emergency funding towards Saskatchewan food banks. “This is not a moment for the province to be cheap,” said Meili.
