Jail time for Broadview woman who rammed police cruiser

YORKTON — Guilty pleas have been entered by a Broadview woman, arrested after a vehicle rammed a police cruiser.

On Jan. 24, Broadview RCMP received a report about a stolen vehicle on the Kahkewistahaw First Nation.

When they attempted a traffic stop, the suspect vehicle rammed the police vehicle before entering the ditch.

In Broadview Court last Wednesday, 31-year-old Faith Nelson was sentenced to 348 days in jail.
