In April 2022, APSS officers executed a warrant on a rural property in the area of Whitkow and with assistance from Blaine Lake RCMP they seized 308 cattle in distress.

Saskatoon police say Mariam Osunfowora, 34, and Xavier Osunfowora, 3, were last seen leaving a home in the 300 block of Central Avenue at around 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 1.

Officers have further charged Joshua Adams with possession of fentanyl, possession of cocaine, failure to comply with a release order and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle in the downtown area, resulting in two individuals from Estevan being arrested and charged with multiple offences.

Police were dispatched to an assault complaint in Canora and attempted to arrest a male in the home. The male pulled out a knife, threatened police with it, and locked himself in the house. After approximately an hour, the male exited the residence and was arrested without incident.

Between Jan. 1 and Aug. 31, the Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) handled 1,488 incidents of property crime, compared to 1,428 offences during the same period in 2022, recent data shows.

Calls for service, crimes against person and property are up in Regina in August.
