Trial delayed for 81-year-old rancher who had 308 cattle seized
In April 2022, APSS officers executed a warrant on a rural property in the area of Whitkow and with assistance from Blaine Lake RCMP they seized 308 cattle in distress.

RCMP Report: Assault report leads to standoff with Canora police
Police were dispatched to an assault complaint in Canora and attempted to arrest a male in the home. The male pulled out a knife, threatened police with it, and locked himself in the house. After approximately an hour, the male exited the residence and was arrested without incident.
